 In early 2002 Mike brought to The Thomas Group his
knowledge and experience acquired during more than 20 years with
two of the medical imaging industry’s key leaders – General
Electric Medical Systems and Toshiba America Medical Systems
(TAMS). His expertise has been a great asset to the development
and continued growth of The Thomas Group.
During
2006, Mike purchased The Thomas Group from then owner
Dale Hunt and is currently President/CEO. Under Mike’s
leadership, The Thomas Group continues to be one of the
industry’s leading PACS consulting firms.
Over the last 25+ years, Mike has provided
leadership that helped those individuals under his direction to
focus on driving customer loyalty, maximizing revenue, and
managing expenses to achieve profitability goals. He also
developed customer service strategies and solutions, service sales
and trade show support, new product introduction/promotions and
communications strategies and tactics to support service business
branding.
Mike holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Electronics Engineering
Technology from the DeVry Institute of Technology and a Master of
Business Administration degree from the University of
Wisconsin—Milwaukee. His education has been further enhanced
through programs provided by General Electric Corporate Training,
Kellogg School of Management, The Wharton School and the
University of Michigan Business School. Some of these programs
dealt with marketing strategy, managerial skills development, and
effective managerial coaching and counseling.
