Headed today by Michael Mack, the Thomas Group is a consulting
firm that was co-founded in 1994 by Paul Thomas and
Dale Hunt.
The original focus of the company was twofold. The first was to
assist healthcare professionals involved in medical imaging to
assess the technology and market requirements of their
organizations to assure their patient populations were being
provided the highest quality products and services available.
The second focus was directed at service organizations dedicated
to providing technical support services to the healthcare
community. These organizations were helped to develop new and
more flexible service offerings to serve the evolving needs of
the market place.
In 2004, we shifted our focus to solely address the needs of
healthcare facilities. More specifically, we have taken a
decade's worth of knowledge in the field of Picture Archive
Communication Systems (PACS) to dedicate helping healthcare
facilities plan for and implement PACS and also their data
migration needs. The Thomas Group is now considered to be one
of the leading consultants for this continually growing
methodology.
